The 42 months
The 1260 days
The 3 1/2 years

This period is in the 70 weeks at the very end. It is the End of Days.

This is the period of the
Two Witnesses
The hiding of The Woman in the wilderness
The exclusion of the measure of the court of the Gentiles from the measure of the heavenly Temple
The unfettered rule of the beast

It ties all these visions together as one.

It is 1/2 of the final 1 week, which week is the direct reflection of the first 7 weeks.

As such, it is:

...the period of The Revelation that fulfills and represents all 70 weeks. The 62 weeks all express the same judgment in some prophetic form. This is the design.

All this is what the Spirit says to the Seven Gatherings:

To convict of sin, righteousness and judgment

Sin, because they did not believe in Yehoshua. Righteousness, because he is ascended. Judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

All is stated in a final sentence from the Judge upon the nations in the redemption of Israel from the nations in the 42 months.

There is the 70 years,
The 70
Weeks = 490 years
And
The 2,300 day/years — of Daniel 8:14 (to which Rashi adds 574 = 2874).  "Till nightfall, morning 2,300, and the Holy will be rectified."

All of the have the redemption of Israel in view. They are different historical windows prophetically revealing aspects of that redemption. The 2,300 can be read with the 574 backwards to the coming out of Egypt, but then must be read forward as a measure of the ending. Apart from how it is to be unpacked, this number stands for the rereading of the 70 weeks in a new window frame from the destruction of the 2nd Temple to the end. And this is on two levels. One is the cutting off of the Anointed One. The other is the destruction of the Temple and/or Jerusalem. The 70 weeks from the 70 years must finally be understood in the scale of the four beasts. So as the four beasts become the one beast this is all condensed into 1 week and specifically 1/2 week.


I.  Jeremiah - 70 years
    3 scopes
    1. to punish the king of Babylon
    2. to rebuild the Temple
    3. to restore Judah

Note: This cannot be final redemption as it did not include the 10 tribes.

It is therefore regarding prophecy of the Redemption in the aspect of the House of David = Judah's representation of All-Israel. = which is itself chastisement and correction-prophecy for Solomon's imperfectly representing the image of Mashiach.  And Solomon was to be the prophecy correction for David's imperfect representation of the the image of Mashiach.  So it was together that they fell short.  The correction had to be to the House of David as a prophetic entity.

How was all of this so?
1.  How does the original chastisement of the House of David in leaving to Solomon just one tribe say this?
2. How does the Jeremiah 70 years window say it?
3. How are the 3 aspects above of the 70 years included in speaking to this question?

Clearly, the image of Mashiach was to include that quality wherein the king of Babylon would be punished, Jerusalem would be rebuilt with the Temple and Judah fully restored - which on this level means restored through fulfilling its purpose of representing all the tribes until no longer needed, the chastisement being complete.


II. 70 Weeks

    1. This prophecy was an explanation given to Daniel as a correction in answer to his prayer concerning the 18 years which he did not calculate between the subjection of Jerusalem and its destruction, so the 70 started from the destruction.  So the question is opened, Why does an explanation that the 70 must be expanded to 490 correct Daniel concerning the error of the 18 years?

Note: that it is clear that the 490 years are called "70 weeks" so as to make sure that Daniel realizes that Jeremiah's 70 years were to be read on the level of being these 490 years at the same time as being the literal 70.  It should be understood then, it would seem, that the angel is telling Daniel that the 490 cannot be understood or correctly counted if they do not start from the destruction.

Since it becomes apparent that there is a parallel between the 70 and the 490 but not an exact parallel the question arises how are these to be set up side by side?  The angel explains this in terms of 7+62+1.  One reading of this gives the 7 to correspond to the 490 itself on a literal years level, after that it is set up to correspond to the 70. Then the 62, which corresponds to the same period in a different measure, is expanded into the whole period, of whatever measure it turns out to be, and having correspondence to the 2300 of Daniel 8:14, until the End of Days, when the 1 week or 7 year period comes forward.  But if the 62 is comprehensive of a very great measure, and the first 7 weeks can be magnified into a 490 itself, why it the 1 week only a literal 7 years?

Daniel is not given instruction on this level, anymore than he is told what the 2300 means. He is only shown that the 70 years of Jeremiah had multiply layers of prophetic content, and that the count had to therefore start from the destruction.  The 18 years are actually seen to have great significance because of this.  For they represent the concealment of the prophecy.  And it is in these 18 years that the redemption by Mordachai and Esther comes.
